Frequently asked questions about Employer cost

Why is the employer cost higher than gross salary?

The employer adds contributions for common contingencies, unemployment, FOGASA, training, MEI and occupational accidents.

Do 12 or 14 salary payments change the result?

They change payroll cash flow, but the annual pay and estimated annual contribution base remain the same because extra payments are prorated for contributions.

Are contribution reductions included?

No. Reductions depend on the contract, the employee and other requirements, so they must be assessed individually.
