Shops overview
Your shop’s
numbers,
from till to bank
A shop mixes counter sales in cash, card and Bizum with till counts, wholesale purchases, stock and, often, online orders. VAT depends on the product and, if you’re an autónomo retailer, you may be in recargo de equivalencia.
You photograph tickets and upload supplier invoices and stock lists with the Numonis platform, and your till settlements arrive on their own. Your accountant checks them, reconciles them with the bank when your plan includes it and files your taxes on time.
What we handle
Once the shutter is down, it’s our turn
Your accountant takes care of the tax side, from the IAE heading to the year-end stock count, and a payroll specialist looks after your staff.
-
The right IAE heading
It depends on what you sell: textiles and footwear usually go in group 651, electronics in 653.2 and food in agrupación 64. Your accountant registers it on Modelo 036.
-
VAT by product
Each item goes at its own rate: 21% for cosmetics and most fashion and electronics, 10% for much of the food and 4% for items such as bread or milk.
-
Recargo de equivalencia
Usually mandatory for autónomo retailers who resell goods unchanged. You don’t file Modelo 303 for those sales or deduct VAT on purchases. Companies use the general regime.
-
Tickets and till counts
Tickets work as simplified invoices for retail sales up to €3,000 including VAT. We check the daily cash and card counts and match card settlements with the bank.
-
Stock at year-end
Under estimación directa, your accountant adjusts purchases by the change between opening and closing stock. That’s why you count stock at least once a year.
-
Shop staff
Your payroll specialist does the contracts, payslips and Social Security for your team, under the collective agreement for your sector and area. Withholding goes on Modelo 111.

FAQ
What people ask before joining Numonis
Does my shop have to be in recargo de equivalencia?
If you’re an autónomo retailer who resells goods without transforming them and meets the 80% rule on sales to consumers, or you’re starting out as a retailer, it is mandatory and you can’t opt out. Companies file VAT under the general regime.
Does a till ticket count as an invoice?
For retail sales to consumers up to €3,000 including VAT, the ticket works as a simplified invoice if it carries the minimum details. If a business customer wants to deduct the VAT, add its tax ID, its address and the VAT amount.
Does Numonis connect to my till or online shop?
Yes. Your till, Shopify, WooCommerce and Stripe connect to the Numonis platform, so your sales and settlements reach your accountant on their own. Tell us which till you use and we’ll connect it.
Can I meet an accountant in person?
Yes. Most of the work happens online, and you can come and see us at our offices in A Coruña, Teruel or Mérida when you need to.
How much does it cost for a small shop?
It depends on whether you trade as an autónomo or a company, how many transactions you move and how many people you employ. Plans for autónomos start at €49 + VAT a month, plans for companies at €99 + VAT a month, and payroll at €45 + VAT a month for the first person.
